News - Camier to ride RSV4

BSB champion Camier to WSB
2009 MCE Insurance British Superbike champion Leon Camier has announced he will compete in the penultimate round of the World Superbike Championship aboard the Aprilia RSV4 this weekend, just days after sealing the BSB title.
Camier has had a record-breaking season in BSB, breaking numerous records, scoring nine pole positions and 17 wins to date with three races still to go at the Oulton Park season finale next weekend. Camier has already raced in WSB this season as a wildcard with the Airwaves Yamaha team at Donington Park when he finished 13th and sixth.
Camier said: "I would like to thank Aprilia for giving me such an amazing opportunity and also GSE Racing for being so supportive. This year has been incredible; to follow my BSB Championship win with a ride on-board a proven race-winning machine in World Superbikes, is awesome. It's going to be a tough challenge for sure. There'll be no time for testing beforehand, and I've never ridden at Magny Cours, but I'm really looking forward to it."
